Georgian **Gold Cased** Carnelian Seal Fob Circa 1830 Large and impressive ring withDating to around 1830 this bright yellow gold (cased) Carnelian fob seals colour belies her true caratage and looks every bit the high carat gold we thought she may have been! Testing via XRF as low carat gold however the Georgian era jewellers were clever and the mix they used for this seal looks like 22ct gold or higher.
