Antique Borjalo Kazak turkish lanterns SIZE : 4'5" X 10'2"Most of our tribal rugs like this Bordjalo Kazak were woven in the late 19th century along the western coast of the Caspian Seaan area bordered by the Black Sea and Turkey to the west and Russia to the northreflects a rich weaving heritage. Woven with hand spun wool and naturally derived vegetable dyes, this region was historically celebrated as a center for producing exceptional tribal rugs before the Soviet period. The motives of this rug are taken
