Published as a double page spread in The Arabs, Puffin Books (1947). A beautifully illustrated depiction of the famous battle (now known as The Battle of al Qadisiyyah) which occurred in 636 CE between the Rashidun Caliphate and the Sasanian Empire. A rare opportunity to acquire an unbound copy of this splendid lithograph by one of
