Flowers yellow and produced in winter and spring. Forms clumps readily. Easy to grow. This species is supposedly surprisingly cold hardy. Apparently it is grown outdoors in Denver, Colorado (they cover it with mulch in winter). I have no experience with frost on this species so please do your research if you want to grow it outdoors in cold
