To view or add a comment, sign in Carbamazepine is one of the few medications that changes its own pharmacokinetics over time. Thats why it catches many clinicians off guard. A patient starts carbamazepine, improves during the first week, and the drug level looks therapeutic. A few weeks later, symptoms return. Adherence hasn't changed. The dose hasn't changed. So what happened? The answer is autoinduction. Carbamazepine induces the enzymes responsible for its own metabolism
That is what sold me on combining them
It is not intended for use as a drug, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or food product
The small-molecule nature of orforglipron means production costs should be lower than peptide-based injectables
This complexity is further heightened by differences in adiponectin production between visceral and subcutaneous fat, notably with obesity-associated declines in adiponectin from subcutaneous sources [33]
Consistent weekly use helps maintain stable blood levels and maximizes therapeutic benefits
