"Kachi" in Japanese means "Win", so the symbol was especially popular among Samurai warriors, who used them as patterns on their armor. Dragonflies can also be seen in yukata and kasuri patterns from the Edo period (1603 1868) to the present day. By simply inserting this rod into the top and bottom of a tenugui, you can easily create a tapestry.
